CURRENT VIEWING UPDATE — 26 OCTOBER 2026 The World’s Greatest Grain of Sand / Procrastinatedon Visitors can still see the grain. The gallery lights currently remain on all day while the timer button is being replaced. Nate reports that visitors have also been using phone torches to get a closer look. The original setup gave fifteen seconds of light after a button press, followed by darkness. That describes the original experience, not the current temporary viewing arrangement. Nate reports that people broke the timer button, an attempted fix made it worse, and a replacement is being made. No completion date or claim of deliberate damage is established. Site 41, Marks Park, Tamarama. The exhibition runs until 2 November 2026. The five-cent contribution is optional. Contact Nate to agree a visit and confirm that day’s arrangements: procrastinatedon@gmail.com. The accompanying articles and PDFs are retained unchanged as artist-supplied accounts of the original setup. Read any fifteen-second viewing instructions in them with this dated update. Repair photographs are available as a separate supplement; the selected installation photographs remain credited to Jordan Abram (@jordanabram).
